AhnLab successfully completed the integrated security strategy conference ‘AhnLab ISF 2022’ with the theme of ‘Secure Cloud, Resilient Transformation’ at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel.
At this event, which was held offline again for the first time in three years, AhnLab ▲ Greetings from CEO Seok-gyun Kang, followed by ▲ Keynote sessions by Ok-yeon Lee, President of the Korea Information Security Society, Seong-hak Jeon, Director of AhnLab Research Center, and Sang-guk Lee, Marketing Director of Ahnlab ▲ AhnLab, its subsidiaries, and customers. A total of 15 sessions were prepared, including presentation sessions where security experts shared security trends, technologies, and cases. In this session, AhnLab presented a strategy to implement ‘TDR Best Practice (Threat Detection & Response Best Practice)’ to effectively detect and respond to threats based on ‘integration’ in a rapidly changing digital environment.
First, in his greeting, AhnLab CEO Kang Seok-gyun said, “As Korea’s only integrated security vendor, AhnLab has emphasized the value of ‘integration’ in the past,” adding, “AhnLab provides various security areas that customers must protect through organic integration of security solutions and services. “We will do our best to protect and successfully implement TDR (Threat Detection & Response) best practices,” he emphasized.
In the keynote session, Lee Ok-yeon, President of the Korea Information Security Society (Professor of Information Security and Cryptography, Kookmin University), spoke on the topic of ‘Changes in the security paradigm and keyword suggestions for future security’ and discussed how the security industry is evolving amid the emergence of new technological environments such as quantum computing, 6G, and drones. We suggested a direction in which to move forward.
Next, Jeon Seong-hak, director of AhnLab Research Institute, introduced the latest trends in security, such as cloud native,
Lee Sang-guk, head of AhnLab’s marketing division, introduced AhnLab’s security architecture and quickly executable integrated security strategy under the theme of ‘Integrated security strategy understood as 3C (Consolidation, CSMA, CNAPP).’
The presentation session that followed was divided into three tracks: ▲Security Intelligence ▲Security Response ▲Security Perspective. In the presentation session, security experts from AhnLab, its subsidiaries, and its customers shared various security trends and AhnLab’s direction, ranging from threat response methods and cases using AhnLab EDR to new security areas such as cloud security, XDR, and zero trust.
In addition, at the exhibition booth, subsidiaries and investment companies such as AhnLab, Jason, Naon Works, and AhnLab Blockchain Company demonstrated major solutions and services and provided customized consultation to customers, receiving positive responses from customers.
