Magenta Robotics Co., Ltd. (CEO Ki-Hyeon Kwon), an artificial intelligence collaborative robot development company, introduced industrial robots through the YouTube channel of Pangyo Techno Valley, a global convergence R&D hub cluster centered on global IT, BT, CT, and NT.
Magenta Robotics is a company that turns robot motion and cognitive abilities into services. Currently, we have created painting robots that can be found at construction sites and robots for beauty, therapy, and massage, and our goal is to develop robots that provide health care and assistance in the future.
The company explains that it developed the technology by sublimating it into a robot due to the aversion to 3D work and the deepening manpower shortage. Accordingly, we developed and manufactured ‘GT PAINTER’ and ‘PIRO-ZERO’.
GT PAINTER is a powder coating robot system using artificial intelligence (AI). It recognizes various varieties by applying a deep learning-based machine learning methodology with recent 99% accuracy and generates motions appropriate for the breed. Through the integrated robot control software platform (MAVIZ), all functions of the robot can be executed in one software module, and when installing and applying systematic function classification, intuitive control using flexible robot movement 3D markers is possible.
Magenta Robotics also upgraded GT PAINTER to the next level and introduced GT PAINTER II. The second series is a MAVIZ-5G-based robot integrated solution that is also capable of autonomous driving. It is equipped with full-process integrated software that conceptualizes and objectifies the contents of video and sensor recognition, judges the environment and situation based on this, and conveniently creates and controls the robot’s behavior patterns from the state map.
In addition, ▲’And & Tool Changer’ to select the necessary tools ▲’Information Display’ to check work status and settings ▲’Camera & Lidar Sensor’ to recognize objects and maps ▲Optimal PATH automatic driving A possible ‘autonomous driving base’ was applied.
PIRO-ZERO is a new massage platform service equipped with a multi-joint robot arm and functional massage devices. By incorporating artificial intelligence technology, natural interaction technology with the user has been applied, and the user can specify the desired area and adjust the intensity. In addition, it is equipped with massage devices for each function that relieve muscle fatigue, such as vibration, low-frequency heat, and high frequency, and can analyze and demonstrate individual posture recognition using a camera.
Kihyun Kwon, CEO of Magenta Robotics, said, “Our collaborative robots can be applied in a variety of fields just by installing an application. “GT PAINTER is capable of painting, cleaning, sanding, etc., and PIRO-ZERO is capable of lymph node stimulation, LED therapy, massage, and meridian stimulation,” he said. “Currently, GT PAINTER is targeting the United States and Europe, which have large painting-related markets. “PIRO-ZERO is keeping in mind the Singapore market, which is actively adopting high-tech technology.”
He continued, “By establishing a base in Pangyo, we have been able to recruit more high-quality talent, and meetings and conferences have become easier and business opportunities have become more diverse. Using this as a stepping stone, our goal is to build a multi-purpose robot platform and provide an environment where anyone can easily and conveniently introduce and operate robots.”
Meanwhile, Magenta Robotics’ GT PAINTER is scheduled to be commercialized in December, and PIRO-ZERO is undergoing clinical trials with a university hospital and is scheduled to be commercialized in August next year.
