Naver Cloud has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Intel and will begin global expansion using the Southeast Asian market as a bridgehead.

Through this agreement, Naver Cloud and Intel plan to carry out various collaborations, including network, marketing, and technology cooperation, focusing on the Southeast Asian market to promote mutual growth.

Naver Cloud utilizes Intel’s global network to find local cloud management service providers (MSPs) in Southeast Asia and accelerate its global business foundation. Additionally, we are working with Intel to develop our MSP partner benefits program. Furthermore, the plan is to enter the local market with Intel’s system integration (SI), independent software developer (ISV), and MSP partners to form a joint development system.

Naver Cloud is also collaborating with Intel in the global launch of its startup training program ‘Green House Program’. In addition to existing benefits such as cloud infrastructure support, technology training and consulting, and hackathons, we plan to expand opportunities to connect with Intel through networking events. In particular, we will strengthen cooperation with portfolio companies invested by Intel to help Naver Cloud expand its growth foothold in the Asia-Pacific region.

Marketing activities will also be carried out to increase Naver Cloud brand awareness in the Southeast Asian cloud market. We plan to carry out various online and offline marketing activities as well as partner joint marketing at the ‘Singapore Cloud Expo Asia 2022’ in which Naver Cloud participates for two days from the 12th to the 13th.

In addition, we will pursue technological cooperation to differentiate Naver Cloud’s global technological competitiveness. We plan to advance public cloud services using Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and Intel architecture-based technologies.

“As a leading data center CPU provider for public cloud services, Intel is truly excited about Naver Cloud’s service expansion into Southeast Asia,” said Steve Long, Intel Vice President of Asia Pacific. “This allows us to provide more choices, flexibility and scalability to our customers’ cloud strategies,” he said. “Based on decades of innovation and experience, Intel is collaborating with Naver Cloud to expand cloud services in this region and in the future.” “I will support you,” he said.

Wonki Park, CEO of Naver Cloud, said, “Through this collaboration, we will seek to expand services in Southeast Asia by combining Naver Cloud’s cloud source technology with Intel’s global network and unrivaled technological capabilities.” He added, “Starting with the Singapore Cloud Expo, Naver Cloud will expand its global reach.” “We expect it to accelerate,” he said.
