Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon will officially participate in the representative indie music festival Live Club Day and hold the ’55th Live Club Day
Live Club Day is a ‘boundary-free live music festival’ where you can see all performances at venues and clubs in Hongdae, Seoul with one ticket. It was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic, but has been successfully restarted since the end of July. The 55th Live Club Day, held on the 28th, is scheduled to be held on a grander scale in celebration of Halloween Day, so Melon has stepped up its efforts through the indie music live performance program ‘Track Zero Alive’.
This ’55th Live Club Day The lineup includes famous bands representing Korea such as Crying Nut, Galaxy Express, and Lazybone, as well as new artists such as Silica Gel, CHS, and Palchil Dance, which were introduced through the Melon Track Zero playlist, and artists from the Gyeongbuk region supported by the Gyeongbuk Music Studio. A total of 14 teams, including musicians Igloo, Horns, and Loss of Infection, will participate.

Melon has been actively taking the lead in revitalizing indie music through the ‘Track Zero’ project since April of this year. A playlist consisting of indie masterpieces is released every Thursday on Melon’s main screen, and indie artists appear on Melon Station’s music broadcast of the same name, ‘Track Zero’, to directly introduce their music to fans. In addition, starting in July, they are holding performances directly in Hongdae through ‘Track Zero Alive’, giving strength to the entire music industry that has suffered difficulties during the COVID-19 period.
