The Wave Talk, which developed a home water quality meter (turbidimeter) and water quality map platform ‘WaTalk’, received the Innovation Award in the Digital Health category at CES 2023. The Wave Talk also received the Innovation Award in the Home Appliance category at CES 2020 for its smart home IoT water sensor.
The Wave Talk, which received investment from Naver D2SF, has developed a product that allows anyone to easily test bacteria and foreign substances in liquid, and is conducting business in various fields such as water quality management and healthcare. Recently, demonstration projects are being planned for ice maker bacteria testing, swimming pool water management, and real-time water tank inspection.
The Wave Talk’s ‘WaTalk’, which won the CES 2023 Innovation Award, is a cup-shaped product consisting of only LED lights and buttons, allowing anyone to easily measure water quality. In the dedicated app linked to WaTalk, not only can individual users manage their water quality measurement data, but they can also check the measurement data of users around the world in the form of a water quality map.
Kim Young-deok, CEO of The Wave Talk, said, “’WaTalk’ is a product that allows people to easily manage water quality at the final stage before drinking water.
