Digital healthcare startup Seven Point One received the Innovation Award in the Digital Health category at CES 2023 for its dementia high-risk group screening solution ‘AlzWIN’.
Seven Point One analyzed conversation content to identify high-risk groups for dementia early and developed a solution to improve cognitive ability and depression through VR content. After attracting investment from Naver D2SF, we successfully completed a cognitive health management project for local seniors in cooperation with Naver Cloud. We are currently expanding our business to other local governments, and are also collaborating with various public institutions, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and medical institutions at home and abroad.
Seven Point One’s Altwin, which received the Innovation Award this time, is a solution that analyzes users’ language fluency to select high-risk groups for dementia, and is based on technology that Professor Kim Ki-woong’s team at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital has been researching since 2010. Its strength is that even elderly people with low digital literacy can use it simply with a test that takes less than 2 minutes, without the need for specialized equipment or manpower.
Lee Hyun-joon, CEO of Seven Point One, said, “Digital health has emerged as a major keyword since CES 2022, and its proportion has grown even larger this year, which can be seen as a reflection of the global aging phenomenon.” He added, “This award will serve as an opportunity to expand the global market.” “We will explore opportunities and strengthen partnerships.”
Meanwhile, Seven Point One plans to set up a booth at Eureka Park, a startup hall, at CES 2023 in January and present an Altwin demo. Recently, it obtained a patent in the United States and is participating in the largest pharmaceutical and bio fair in the United States, ‘BIO USA’, and is discussing collaboration with multinational medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
