    Kakao will hold the developer conference ‘if Kakao Dev 2022 (hereinafter referred to as if Kakao)’ online from the 7th to the 9th of next month, covering all industries from finance to mobility, webtoons, games, and AI.

    Kakao organized the session with a focus on honestly looking back on what was lacking this year and moving forward again to create a better world through technology. Starting with the keynote speech, about 120 developers from the Kakao community appeared as speakers, and 12 speakers comprised of ▲1015 Data Center Fire Retrospective ▲AI ▲Backend ▲Cloud ▲DevOps ▲Blockchain ▲Data ▲Frontend ▲Mobile ▲ESG ▲Culture ▲General A total of 106 presentation sessions will be held across 10 tracks.

    On the first day of the event, a total of four people will give keynote presentations: Nam Gung-hoon, Ko Woo-chan, co-chairman of the Kakao Emergency Response Committee’s Recurrence Prevention Measures subcommittee, Lee Hwak-young, cause investigation subcommittee chairman (Greb CEO), and Lee Chae-young, head of the technology division. In the keynote, the cause of the service failure caused by the fire at the Pangyo SK C&C data center on October 15 will be analyzed and measures to prevent recurrence, including infrastructure investment plans, will be revealed.

    Kakao considers providing stable services as its top priority and plans to explain its efforts to identify the cause, apply multiple measures to all areas, and make investments and engineering innovations.

    On the second day, five special ‘1015 Retrospective’ sessions will be held to individually explain multiplexing technology in detail and share technical improvements. In addition, Kakao Piccoma, which recently achieved first place in overall app sales in Japan, said, ‘How is Kakao Pickoma creating a global service?’ by Heo Jun, the platform development team leader, and ‘How is Kakao Piccoma creating a global service?’, and ‘Kakao Community Together with Society’ by Kim Hye-il, Digital Accessibility Officer (DAO). About 50 presentations will be made, including ‘Examples of Digital Responsibility for Sustainable Growth’.
