Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Innovation Center) announced that it had successfully completed the ‘KB Unicorn Club 2nd Performance Sharing Meeting’ hosted by KB Kookmin Bank.
KB Unicorn Club is a customized accelerator program for early-stage startups (less than 3 years old) in the technology startup field. KB Kookmin Bank cooperates with the Gyeonggi Innovation Center to sponsor innovative startups that are expected to grow together in the future, and the Gyeonggi Innovation Center supports strengthening the capabilities of target companies by implementing customized acceleration according to corporate diagnosis. Continuing from last year, 10 promising companies were selected in the second period this year, and they completed the program by achieving rapid scale-up.
Based on the achievements achieved through the KB Unicorn Club, this performance sharing session was divided into three sessions: sharing of investment attraction cases, sharing of global advancement results, and AC performance talk show.
In the investment attraction case session, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center directly invested in ▲deep learning-based indoor location tracking SaaS ‘iPinLabs’ and ▲AI-based writing assistance solution that received investment from the Pre-A series and received the 2023 CES Innovation Award. The case of ‘Lutton Technologies’ was presented.
Next, the global advancement performance session included ▲ two innovative companies knocking on the door of the global market by exhibiting at the Edison Award, including ‘QSIM Plus’, a graphic-based quantum communication S/W simulator that won the 2023 CES Innovation Award ▲ Smartphone 3D Scanner & Virtual showroom service ‘Rebuild AI’ and ▲AR navigation solution ‘SLDS’ participated.
In the last session, AC Performance Talk Show, with the Gyeonggi Innovation Center Open Innovation Manager, ▲Global tour activity platform ‘Xcrew’ ▲AI-based intelligent transportation system ‘Raon Road’ ▲Fintech service for self-employed people ‘Early Pay’ ▲High-speed logistics waybill recognition System ‘Korea Deep Learning’ ▲ Management fee automation solution for small buildings ‘Korea Housing Information’ A total of 5 innovative companies participated, and had an opportunity to share advanced achievements after going through the accelerator process of the Gyeonggi Innovation Center.
