N.Right Co., Ltd. (CEO Jinyoung Park), a 3D design software development company, introduced ‘N.D.CAD’ through the YouTube channel of Pangyo Techno Valley, a global convergence R&D hub cluster centered on global IT, BT, CT, and NT.
N.Light is a startup that conducts a SaaS business that provides 3D design software and a self-developed 3D modeling engine in the form of a software development kit (SDK).
The 3D modeling engine developed by N.Light was selected by CB Insights as a 3D engine company leading the metaverse industry and was recognized for its technology by being selected along with Unreal, Unity, and Blender. The engine is being supplied to Naver, KT, etc.

3D design software ‘N.D.CAD’ targets B2C and B2B markets. The number of teenage creators, especially metaverse content creators, is increasing, and the need for 2D designers to have 3D design skillsets is increasing recently. In line with this, we developed it so that even beginners can easily create 3D designs. In addition, as the collaborative work style increases, we targeted companies that want to collaborate on 3D design.
N.CAD’s 3D engine is provided to metaverse platform developers, game developers, and e-commerce service providers who want to provide an environment for creating 3D user created content (UGC).
CEO Jinyoung Park said, “The 3D design software market is an old one, but it is a field with relatively little innovation. “It was difficult to access because difficult software targeting experts dominated the market,” he said. “The age of creators who want to create 3D content is getting younger and they are becoming more non-expert, but there wasn’t much software for them to choose from. Additionally, the program is very heavy and requires a high-end PC. “To complement this, we came up with N.D.CAD,” he explained the development background.
He continued, “N.CAD is easy to use and can be used in a work environment regardless of PC specifications. “It is a web-based program that also provides a real-time collaboration and communication environment,” he said. “We have decided to supply our 3D engine and 3D asset data to ‘Geniverse,’ a metaverse platform under development at KT, and commercialize it starting next year. “We plan to use this as a stepping stone to quickly enter overseas markets,” he said.
Meanwhile, N.Light was selected as the ‘Major 3D Engine Leading the 2022 Global Metaverse Market’ and was recognized for its global technological competitiveness by receiving an innovation award at CES 2023.
