AhnLab (CEO Seok-gyun Kang and Seoul Fintech Lab (CEO Ho-hyun Ko) signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) to support fintech startups on Tuesday, January 19.
Through this agreement, the two companies decided to cooperate in discovering and supporting the growth of startups in the fintech field, including startup accelerating (*) and activities to improve the security level of fintech startups.
*Accelerating: A program in which external experts provide mentoring, training, and investment attraction support during a set period of time in the early stages of a startup.
To this end, the two companies plan to jointly plan and implement various collaboration programs for startups residing in Seoul Fintech Lab in the future, including ▲ investment and business cooperation review ▲ security seminars and consultations ▲ provision of ‘AhnLab Office Security’ discount benefits.
Seoul Fintech Lab Center Director Koh Ho-hyeon said, “We expect that this business agreement with AhnLab will allow us to implement various cooperation programs with tenant companies,” and added, “Seoul Fintech Lab will actively engage in activities to create synergy in nurturing fintech startups.” “I will continue,” he said.
