Wordvice Co., Ltd. (CEO Jong-Hwan Lee), an English proofreading and translation platform service company, announced on the 4th that it has signed an English proofreading service agreement with major Taiwanese universities, including National Taiwan University and Taipei Medical University.
Wordvice’s English proofreading service is a service in which professional English proofreading is performed by native English-speaking editors with master’s and doctoral degrees in each academic field. On average, more than 350,000 people visit Wordvice every month and receive more than 150,000 English proofreading services.
Wordvice provides services to various countries, including Taiwan. It is rapidly growing as a global export company, with export performance growth rate of approximately 500% over the past three years and export performance accounting for 40% of sales.
In addition, Word Vice was recognized for its high-quality English proofreading services in the US English proofreading service market, including being ranked first in an article comparing the quality of English proofreading services by the renowned US media outlet ‘WIRED’.
Currently, Wordvice is expanding its agreements with Asian universities, including Taiwan, based on its Chinese and Japanese subsidiaries. We also have agreements with major domestic universities and research institutes, including Yonsei University, Korea University, and Chung-Ang University. We provide services such as English proofreading, academic translation, and plagiarism check to professors and researchers.
Wordvice CEO Lee Jong-hwan said, “I believe this agreement is the result of focusing on localized site operation and content production to provide global services and constantly improving services.”
Meanwhile, Word Vice was selected for the 2020 Jungle Program of the Startup Leap Package of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Agency for Startup and Entrepreneurship Development and is receiving professional customized support, including commercialization support and mentoring, from the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center, the host organization.
