Naver Connect Foundation (Chairman Cho Gyu-chan) announced on the 26th that it is recruiting trainees for AI/SW education programs. As the demand for professional manpower is increasing in the IT industry, Naver Connect Foundation plans to train approximately 800 practical talents in the AI and SW fields every year.
Boost Camp is a SW practical training program that has been running since 2016, and the curriculum was created by working developers and experts so that students can start their careers as new developers after completion. The training course is divided into ‘Boost Camp Challenge’ and the more advanced ‘Boost Camp Membership’ and lasts for a total of 5 months.
A total of 169 people completed the 5th class last year, and 62% of the graduates are active as developers at various IT companies, including Naver. A total of 350 people will be selected for this 6th session in the fields of web full stack (JavaScript), mobile iOS (Swift), and mobile Android (Kotlin).
In addition, the Naver Connect Foundation established a new foundation early this year to foster AI engineers with excellent problem-solving skills in the rapidly changing AI field. is designed to allow you to experience the entire process from basic theory training to product serving over 5 months. In particular, Korea’s top AI experts and professors, including Upstage CEO Kim Seong-hoon, KAIST Professor Joo Jae-geol, and Naver AI Research researcher Kim Seong-dong, will participate as masters and share the practical experience and know-how necessary for AI engineers.
The foundation plans to train 500 AI engineers every year through . The first class, which started early this year, is scheduled to be completed at the end of June, and a networking day will be held to connect trainees with their careers.
