    Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Provincial Economic and Science Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Agency) are promoting overseas promotion through videos in line with the COVID-19 era using ‘Pangyo’ as a keyword to help Pangyo Techno Valley companies advance overseas and increase Pangyo Techno Valley’s overseas awareness.

    This year, in addition to producing interview videos for excellent companies, we also prepared non-face-to-face overseas promotion through video editing owned by the company, and the ‘Pangyo Techno Valley Weekly Briefing’.

    In the Pangyo Weekly Briefing, news from Pangyo will be videotaped in the following order: ▲Pangyo’s large company issues ▲Pangyo sprout business (startup) issues ▲This week’s Pangyo event news ▲Pangyo weekly hot issues will be distributed to corporate buyers and investment companies around the world.     Companies located in Pangyo that wish to promote overseas through Gyeonggi-do can apply through the ‘Promotion Application’ page on the banner of the Pangyo Techno Valley website (company interview or corporate video promotion).

    After entering the application information on the website and sending the company-owned video data to the designated email address, the manager will process the video data, write an article, and post it on YouTube and the Pangyo Techno Valley website.

    Related content will be distributed to overseas media outlets affiliated with the service provider promoting overseas promotion, and corporate interviews will be filmed only for excellent companies through a separate selection process.

    The corporate interview video is a program that discovers companies in Pangyo with innovative ideas and products and services capable of sustainable growth, produces them in videos, and informs them overseas. It consists of company introduction, service and product introduction, characteristics and advantages of the company’s services, and advantages of being located in Pangyo.

    Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggiwon created introduction interview videos for 60 companies in Pangyo last year, and these videos reached 350,000 views on YouTube, actively promoting companies overseas even in the COVID-19 situation.

    As a result, Hancom Mobility attracted 10 billion won in investment from Nonghyup Investment & Securities, and many companies actively used the company introduction interview video to attract investment.

    A provincial official said, “There have been few opportunities to inform many people of Pangyo’s innovative companies and issues,” and added, “Through this Pangyo overseas promotion program, we will prepare to serve as a bridgehead to promote Pangyo Techno Valley’s brands and companies overseas.” He said.
