Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’) announced on the 4th that 10 child care companies were finally selected for the ‘Baby Unicorn 200 Development Project’ hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Baby Unicorn 200 Development Project is a project to discover excellent startups and foster them into prospective unicorn companies with global competitiveness. Selected companies will receive up to KRW 15.9 billion in support, including KRW 300 million in market development funds, KRW 10 billion in policy funds, and KRW 600 million in research and development (R&D) funds.
Among the companies selected this time, 10 companies are incubating the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, including Erangtech, Share Treats, M2S, Mango Slab, Blue Gold, Security Platform, CGI, XbaX, Uprise, and Flat Force.
Among these, 7 companies are beneficiaries of the Startup Leap Package support project of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Startup Promotion Agency. It received support from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, the host organization, with specialized programs such as commercialization funds and global expansion.
Irangtech Co., Ltd. (CEO Jae-bok Lee), a beneficiary of the 2020 Startup Leap Package, was the only company specializing in components in the 5G field to be selected. Erangtech is a company specializing in RF filters that researches, develops, and sells key components for mobile communication base stations and repeater equipment, and is a leader in the local production of 5G communication technology and RF components.
We have signed contracts with several large companies and are focusing on the production and development of 5G RF Filters for North America and Europe, and recently received the ‘Best’ rating in the 100 Materials, Parts, and Equipment Startup Support Project.

Share Treats (CEO Lee Hong-bae), a beneficiary of the 2020 Startup Leap Package, is a company that provides digital coupon services specialized in Southeast Asia. It has established itself as the No. 1 local mobile gifting service provider in the Philippines, providing more than 100 franchise brands. The establishment of a corporation and localization work to launch services in Indonesia this year are also in the final stages.
Accordingly, despite the COVID-19 pandemic crisis last year, it achieved rapid growth of more than three times in terms of transaction amount. Share Treats CEO Lee Hong-bae said, “This is recognition of the business execution and growth potential of our business in Southeast Asia,” and expressed his ambition, “We will develop this service into a service used by more than 500 million people in Southeast Asia in the future.”
