    Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’, Center Director Shin Hyun-sam) announced that it held an inauguration ceremony for the ‘KB Unicorn Club’ with KB Kookmin Bank (CEO Heo In).

    On the 17th, the ‘KB Unicorn Club’ inauguration ceremony was held at the Giga Hall of the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, as part of the ‘K-Champ Challenge’ project for early-stage entrepreneurs.

    Attending the launch ceremony on this day were Gyeonggi Innovation Center Director Shin Hyun-sam, KB Kookmin Bank Gyeonggi Nam Regional Sales Group CEO Kim Hoe-seop, Division Manager Yang Jeong-pil, and 10 selected startups.

    ‘KB Unicorn Club’ is a program that selects 10 startups that will lead innovation, is sponsored by KB Kookmin Bank, and is fostered by the Gyeonggi Innovation Center. Follow-up support for direct investment (SEED) is provided to excellent companies. Additionally, active support is planned if you attempt the Gyeonggi Innovation Center’s K-Champ Challenge and Global Challenge programs.

    Kim Hoe-seop, CEO of KB Kookmin Bank’s Gyeongginam Regional Sales Group, said, “I hope that through the KB Unicorn Club, there will be many companies that expand beyond Korea and into the world.”
