    [Pangyo Tech] Hancom Group establishes new corporation ‘Arowana Herb’

    Hancom Group (hereinafter referred to as Hancom Group) announced on the 21st that it had established ‘Arowana Hub’, a new operating corporation for the Arowana Project, and had appointed a new CEO, Jeon Dong-wook (current CEO of Hancom MDS).

    ‘Arowana Hub’, which is entrusted with the domestic operation of the Arowana project, distributed a portion of the total 500 million tokens held by the Arowana Foundation to domestic partner companies and announced the establishment and expansion of the Arowana ecosystem through return and reinvestment of profits.

    ‘Arowana Hub’ partners include Hancom group companies such as Arowana Gold Jewelry, Arowana Gold Exchange (formerly Hancom Gold Exchange), Hancom With, Hancom Code Gate, Hancom Robotics, Hancom Intelligence, and Hancom Academy, and various external companies We plan to actively expand our partnership.

    ‘Arowana Hub’ distributes Arowana Tokens according to the distribution and marketing plans of partner companies, including Hancom Group affiliates, and plans to allow partner companies to use Arowana Tokens as points or mileage for their products or services. Partner companies plan to use a portion of the profits generated through token-linked businesses to repurchase tokens, thereby contributing to the increase in token value. In addition, partner companies return a portion of the profits through token distribution to ‘Arowana Hub’, and Arowana Hub plans to create a virtuous cycle ecosystem by reinvesting all profits only in the Arowana Project business.

    To this end, the Arowana Foundation changed its shareholding structure to 95% owned by Arowana Herb and 5% owned by Arowana Gold Jewelry. In order to operate more transparently, ‘Arowana Hub’ plans to perform a compliance monitoring function through compliance work and legal advice from a law firm, and plans to regularly share token distribution information and plans.

    An official from Hancom Group said, “In order to operate the Arowana Project more directly and transparently, we have established a domestic operating corporation after much review and consideration,” and added, “We have established a token to substantially contribute to the growth of the digital financial platform business and the business of our partners.” We plan to operate , and we will take the lead in creating a healthier market by successfully establishing a virtuous cycle ecosystem where value is shared and coexistence.”
