The Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongkonjin), which operates the Pangyo Gyeonggi Culture Creation Hub, is recruiting applicants for ‘Youth Startup SMART2030’ until July 4th.

‘Youth Entrepreneurship SMART2030’ is a growth support program for prospective entrepreneurs who wish to start a business in the content convergence field and has been in operation for 8 years.

Supported areas include publishing, comics, music, games, movies, animation, broadcasting, advertising, characters, knowledge information, and content solutions. It is a wide range of content convergence fields, including design, media art, VR/AR, ICT convergence, and manufacturing convergence. As the importance of the content field becomes more important worldwide, interest in the business is growing year by year.

Those eligible for support are prospective entrepreneurs aged 15 to 39 who dream of starting a business in Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeongkonjin plans to recruit around 50 young people (teams). 36 hours of start-up training is provided to the recruitment team, and to prepare for full-scale start-up, we support programs such as ▲continuous mentoring by a professional accelerator, ▲business networking, ▲graduation exhibition, and ▲investment maintenance linkage.

In particular, this year, 30 teams will be selected and each will be equally supported with a project cost of 10 million won, so that everyone can use the same opportunity to pursue their dreams as prospective entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, due to the spread of COVID-19, some programs such as education, networking, and seminars may be changed to non-face-to-face, but commercialization funding support is scheduled to proceed without disruption.

In addition, an online non-face-to-face business information session will be held through the Gyeonggi Culture Creation Hub channel on YouTube from 7 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, to introduce detailed information regarding the recruitment of ‘Youth Entrepreneurship SMART2030’ and to encourage prospective entrepreneurs through real-time communication. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with the attendees.
