CNAI (CEO Yang Dong-min), which was selected in the daily consumption field of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency’s (NIPA) ‘2023 Non-face-to-face leading service activation project in areas closely related to daily life’, is developing a variety of AI-related businesses based on AI-based image and video generation technology. It is a company that operates. Recently, it has been attracting attention by developing ‘Tiv’, an image generation AI platform that generates various types of images according to user prompts.
The company said, “We have advanced our AI-based image creation technology by applying our self-developed image evaluation model to Tiv, and by adding hyper-personalization technology, we provide a ‘customer-tailored AI platform’ that learns the customer’s data.” In addition to commercializing sports athletes by turning them into AI humans, it has also been provided to many governments, public institutions, financial institutions, large corporations, and local governments. “We recently launched an AI human service for B2C through collaboration with a large domestic company, and through this, we hope to lead the popularization of AI human.”
Recently, unmanned stores using only kiosks without employees are spreading without checking the level of accessibility of the information-vulnerable group, and it is expected that the difficulties of the information-vulnerable group will increase further. In addition, as the number of consumers in their 20s and 30s who are reluctant to interact face-to-face and prefer kiosks is increasing, untact marketing in offline stores is spreading to various industries and becoming a trend. To meet this, C&AI explained that it developed AI Human with the idea that customer satisfaction across all age groups could be improved by introducing a friendly kiosk that can be conveniently used even by the elderly.
Currently, C&AI has developed an AI human, ‘AI Sena’, and is installing it on kiosks to provide customer service to people visiting Save Zone, a local shopping mall. A company representative said, “Save Zone has a higher age range of visitors compared to other shopping malls, making it difficult to use the kiosk. To solve this problem, we provide AI human services that emphasize human interaction, allowing visitors to more conveniently and quickly access the information they want on the kiosk. “We provide support so that you can obtain it.”
In addition, “In the future, through AI Sena, we plan to provide friendly guidance on kiosks, as well as event planning through kiosks and smooth collection of customer data through kiosk use. In addition, we expect that more active and diverse promotions will be possible through the production of various videos using AI Sena,” he said. “If the utilization rate of kiosks with AI humans increases, the shopping mall can be operated more dynamically through user pattern analysis and various content development.” “We are predicting that we can do it,” he added.
C&AI has provided AI humans to government agencies and public institutions as well as private companies such as IT companies, financial institutions, and professional sports teams through its AI human creation platform ‘Pola’. In addition, in recognition of its AI human technology, it was selected as the ‘Public Procurement Service Innovative Prototype’ last August, and was selected as one of the ‘AI Startup 100’ for the second year in a row this year.
Currently, C&AI has focused its AI human business on the B2B market for institutions, and has recently entered the B2C market by developing and launching KT and KT AI Human Studio. In relation to this, an official said, “We have expanded our horizons to the B2C market because we believe that in the future, there will come a time when AI humans will be freely used not only by companies but also by individuals such as so-called ‘two-jobbers’, freelancers, and instructors.” He added, “Our company has generative AI technology. Based on the belief that ‘AI creates opportunities for everyone,’ we will continue to research and develop technology to lead the era of ‘With AI’ where everyone uses AI easily and quickly.”
Meanwhile, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA, Director Heo Seong-wook) aims to promote the distribution of non-face-to-face services in areas closely related to people’s daily lives, such as business, daily consumption, education/evaluation, and well-being/health in the pandemic era. We are pursuing a ‘service revitalization project’. Starting in 2021, as the non-face-to-face digital economy accelerates across the economy and society in response to the great digital transformation in the post-corona era, this project will select and support key investment areas focusing on services that urgently require non-face-to-face transformation. C&AI was selected in the daily consumption category.
