Himnanda Co., Ltd., a leading bio food tech company, announced on the 20th that it will expand its live lactic acid bacteria ‘synbiotics’ business area from offline to online and launch healthy convenient cooked foods.
Himnanda is a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center. We are researching and developing microbiome-based healthy convenience foods and operating franchises that can easily protect the health of modern people. We are steadily expanding our range of healthy bio foods with the slogan ‘Keep people healthy’.
In 2019, we launched ‘Himnanda Burger’, a handmade burger specialty, and introduced premium beef patties containing synbiotics. On the 24th, Naver Smart Store plans to unveil ‘Himbaek Steak’, which implements the bio patty, the source of the Himnanda Burger’s taste.
‘Himnanda Synbiotics’ added to Himbaek Steak was developed to enable heat-vulnerable lactic acid bacteria to survive in harsh environments such as high temperatures above 200℃, low temperatures below -40℃, strong acids, and strong alkalis.
CEO Joseph Heo of Himnanda said, “Himbaek Steak is a high-protein food that is perfect for people of all ages and genders as it fundamentally approaches the problem of indigestion from existing burgers.” He added, “Thanks to the steady increase in interest in Himnanda Bio Patty, we were able to launch it as an online product beyond offline.” “There was,” he said.
Meanwhile, Himbaek Steak will be available at offline stores in the future after achieving a certain sales target at Naver Smart Store. In the future, we plan to expand our business scope to include various online commerce and live commerce.
