Naver and Kakao announced on the 30th that they would provide ‘COVID-19 Win-Win National Subsidy Information’.

If you request a national subsidy notification on the Naver App or the National Secretariat website, you can check in advance whether you are eligible, amount, application period/method, expiration date, etc. on Naver App on September 5th, the day before you apply for the subsidy.

Naver’s ‘National Secretary Service’ allows users to check the contents of notices and bills sent by government ministries through ‘Naver Electronic Document Service’ and even make payments using Naver Pay simple transfer.

Previously, users had to apply on the National Secretary website and set the National Secretary platform to Naver, but from this day, the National Secretary service can also be used on the Naver app. Pull the Naver app home screen from top to bottom or press ‘Na.’ at the top. Alternatively, you can easily apply through the electronic document service by clicking on the profile image.

Naver CEO Han Seong-sook said, “We will continue to collaborate with the government and public institutions based on Naver’s service capabilities to expand the types of notifications and make efforts to easily check administrative information in daily life.” Kakao will also launch a national subsidy notification service on KakaoTalk from this day. Users who want to receive national subsidy notifications can search for national secretary in the search box at the top of KakaoTalk and then sign up for subscription and apply for notifications on the ‘Gubbi’ KakaoTalk channel.

Starting September 5, users who have applied for national subsidy notification will receive information on eligibility, subsidy amount, application period and method, expiration date, available areas, and businesses through KakaoTalk. Those who are not eligible for national subsidy can file an appeal at the Kookmin Shinmungo or town/village/dong community center, and receive notification of the result of the appeal via KakaoTalk.

When the national subsidy application date arrives, the application deadline and application method information will be sent via KakaoTalk message. In addition, users who have completed the application for the national subsidy and received the national subsidy will receive a notification of the expiration date when there is one month and one week left before the expiration date, respectively.
