Better Together (CEO Heo Su-jin) has launched ‘Aljam Pediatrics’, an app that allows you to search for a local pediatric clinic where you can receive sleep consultation for infants and toddlers, make reservations, and even fill out a questionnaire.
Better Together is a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center. We provide Korea’s only infant sleep counseling service, ‘Aljam’, and are developing data-based infant sleep counseling and artificial intelligence systems.
At ‘Aljam Pediatrics’, parents of children aged 0 to 5 can easily search for and make reservations for pediatric specialists near their residence who can provide sleep consultation through the app, and even fill out a questionnaire. If you complete the questionnaire 2-3 days before the desired consultation appointment date, the pediatrician in charge will write a customized diagnosis form tailored to the baby’s growth and development based on the contents of the questionnaire, and a 20-minute face-to-face consultation will be held on the day of the reservation.
Since the service opened in May, over 300 consultations have already been conducted, and within 2 to 4 days after receiving the consultation, an ‘Aljam’ baby sleep specialist consultant provides feedback through ARS to determine whether the consultation has been applied, satisfaction levels, and additional questions. We provide a response service.
A person in charge of ‘Aljam Pediatrics’ said, “Aljam Pediatrics is the first specialized infant and toddler sleep consultation service in Korea. It is a specialized and automated system where you can receive consultation from a specialist not only on your baby’s sleep problems, but also on development and growth related to your baby’s sleep. “It is a program that provides services,” he said. “It is clearly differentiated from general counselors whose expertise is questionable in terms of the subject of service provision. The cost is around 80,000 won, which is lower than other counseling services, and the satisfaction level of parents who received counseling was very high at over 92%.” “It’s high,” he said.
