NHN (CEO Jung Woo-jin) announced on the 6th that it will provide its multi-cloud products in conjunction with KINX (CEO Kim Ji-wook) cloud connection platform ‘Cloud Hub’.
Cloud Hub connects cloud service providers (CSPs) such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft (MS) with multi-cloud, internal customers, and hybrid. The company explains that it can guarantee the performance of the cloud network and transmit data safely based on a dedicated line.
Through this integration, Cloud Hub has secured most domestic and foreign CSPs as partners. NHN Cloud has become easier to link with other cloud providers as well as on-premises built within customer companies. In addition to our own data center, we can now expand multi-cloud integration points.
NHN said, “If the customer wishes, route duplication of the dedicated line is possible, which kills two birds with one stone by increasing service availability and reducing the time required to provide the service.” He added, “We expect that both companies will be able to create synergies in various areas in the future.”
Kim Dong-hoon, Executive Director of NHN Cloud Business Group, said, “Cloud Hub integration will be a solid foundation for cooperation between the two companies, including the expansion of NHN’s cloud business.” He added, “We will take advantage of NHN Cloud Center 1’s network-neutral characteristics, strong security certification, and excellent energy efficiency.” “In the future, we will expand our services to public and financial areas where industrial demand is high,” he emphasized.
Kim Ji-wook, CEO of KINX, said, “With this integration, Cloud Hub has further solidified its status as Korea’s largest cloud connection platform,” adding, “Collaboration with NHN Cloud is an opportunity to provide connection services to more customers by utilizing our expertise in the cloud network area.” “It will happen,” he said.
