[Pangyo Tech] Odin Robotics supplies AI entrance solution to Kangwon Land

Delivery of unmanned 365 access solution to Odin Robotics Heimdall | Provided by Odin Robotics

Odin Robotics, a company specializing in AI unmanned solutions, announced on the 4th that Heimdall Unmanned 365, an AI entry solution, has been installed and is operating smoothly in all smoking rooms in Kangwon Land.

Kangwon Land is implementing various preventive measures, such as limiting the number of visitors and limiting the number of people in smoking rooms, to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) infection early.

In indoor smoking rooms in multi-use facilities, close contact is bound to occur because many people gather in an enclosed space and take off their masks to smoke. Smoking is a space where prevention is difficult because it involves using one’s hands and mouth, making one easily exposed to the risk of direct infection from droplets. In particular, in the case of Kangwon Land’s smoking room, quarantine is of great importance as it is a space where more than a thousand people enter and exit every day.

In the case of the existing Kangwon Land smoking room, a separate manager had to be stationed to check the number of people inside the smoking room in order to maintain quarantine rules for maintaining an appropriate number of people indoors due to COVID-19. Smoking room users also had to visit the smoking room to check whether they could enter, which frequently resulted in incidents that did not fit the purpose of social distancing, such as having to wait in line at the entrance.

Odin Robotics developed a management system for the appropriate number of people in indoor smoking rooms according to quarantine rules with its own AI technology and supplied it to Kangwon Land, helping prevent the spread of infectious diseases in smoking rooms.

The Heimdall unmanned 365 AI entry solution installed at the entrance to each of the six smoking rooms in Kangwon Land detects people entering and leaving the smoking room, automatically determines the current number of people compared to the appropriate number of people indoors, and displays this information through a 22-inch wireless tablet.

Casino users can remotely determine whether they can enter the smoking room, eliminating the inconvenience of waiting in line and using the smoking room safe from infectious diseases. In addition, Kangwon Land employees can focus on their main work instead of doing simple repetitive tasks in front of the smoking room, thereby increasing work efficiency.

Heimdall Unmanned 365 AI Entry Solution is currently being introduced to approximately 200 unmanned PC rooms across the country and boasts 99% people counting accuracy based on accumulated data. Unlike general sensors, it can accurately detect even when multiple people enter overlapping or consecutively, so it is being introduced to stores that require thorough access control in addition to access authentication using QR codes or credit cards.

Above all, the simple back office configuration allows you to change the maximum number of people according to the size of the indoor space where the number of people is limited in real time through the web or mobile anytime, anywhere. Depending on the company, the tablet screen configuration, location of guidance text, and design can also be customized. possible.

Additionally, by linking a speaker, voice guidance is automatically transmitted when entry is not possible, allowing for stronger access security.

Meanwhile, Heimdall’s unmanned 365 AI entry solution is scheduled to be demonstrated with a kiosk at the 2021 Smart Retail Exhibition to be held from the 25th of this month. During the exhibition period, a limited initial cost support event will also be held on a first-come, first-served basis.
