Naver also announced that it is making efforts to secure global AI technology by establishing a joint research center with Seoul National University and KAIST on the topic of ultra-scale AI and ultra-creative AI, respectively. Each research center reported that researchers from Naver and each school are collaborating closely, and research results are gradually becoming visible.

In addition to the two schools, he explained that meaningful results are being achieved through active research collaboration with various domestic universities such as Korea University, Yonsei University, GIST, UNIST, and Sogang University.

Ha Jeong-woo, head of Naver AI Lab, said, “Our ultimate goal is to ensure that the AI technology researched and developed by Naver can solve problems and create value in users’ daily lives.” He added, “40% of our research results go to actual AI services.” “It is being applied directly and indirectly,” he said.
