Iljin Maritas participated in the ’23rd International Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Exhibition (KORMARINE 2023)’ held at BEXCO in Busan for 4 days from Tuesday, October 24th to Friday, 27th.
For over 25 years, Iljin Maritaz has devoted its energy to creating the best solutions for wastewater treatment and control on ships and offshore platforms. Marinfloc’s patented process provides the ultimate solution for removing oil, hydrocarbons and a variety of other contaminants while minimizing space and energy usage.
The wastewater treatment system introduced by Iljin Maritaz at this exhibition cleans both bilge and EGR discharge water through effective coagulation. A unique combination, EGR offers a streamlined approach to minimizing equipment, installation, operating costs and CO2.
Bilge water (polluted water in the bottom of the ship) and EGR effluent belong to different bodies and require separation, but this system ensures they are kept separate. Separate storage and sludge tanks are included, and system isolation valves prevent any mixing, including sludge, generated during processing. Operators can easily select which waste streams to treat from the control panel.
Meanwhile, KORMARINE 2023, co-hosted by Busan City, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Plant Association, Korea Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Industry Cooperative, Lead K Fairs Co., Ltd. and BEXCO, will feature domestic and overseas shipbuilding, offshore plant, Cutting-edge equipment and new technologies in marine energy were showcased.
