    Chosun F&B Co., Ltd. (CEO Ki-Baek Kwon and Ki-Yeon Kwon) will be holding the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Expo (Agri & Food Tech Start- announced that they will participate in the ‘Up Rising Expo 26)’.

    Established in 2020, Chosun F&B is a company that has been actively engaged in business in the fields of processed meat products, home meal replacement (HMR), restaurant meal replacement (RMR), and artificial meat (meat substitute) with the goal of becoming Korea’s leading livestock food company. am. In particular, they recently launched a new Korean food brand, ‘Woonokjib’, and announced their vision to open customized meat food stores based on high-quality Korean beef throughout the country.

    In this exhibition, Chosun F&B presents a variety of its meat products and processed foods. These products are slaughtered on the same day using raw materials certified to be of the highest quality, such as Yeongju Korean beef, and are shipped after passing a total of 30 checklists, including hygiene conditions at the manufacturing site.

    After slaughter, it is distributed and managed through a subdivided cold chain system according to the cow’s gender, slaughter month, and meat part. Through this, we systematically manage ingredients that determine meat quality and taste, such as glutamic acid, inosinic acid, linoleic acid, and free sugar. In addition, packaging technology that optimizes humidity, moisture, and fatty acids that promote microbial growth in raw meat is also reflected.

    As a result of efforts to stabilize quality throughout the processing and distribution process, Chosun F&B’s meat products were able to enter large distribution channels. In addition, the company emphasized that it was selected as the best company by the Korea Securities Depository last year.

Furthermore, through this expo, we hope to meet with various domestic agricultural and food startups, seek cooperation, and lay the foundation for a new leap forward,” he said, explaining the reason for participating in this exhibition.

    Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
