Queen’s Bucket (CEO Park Jeong-yong) will be holding the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for 28 days from July 3th (Wed) to 2023th (Fri). He announced that he would participate in ‘.
Queensbucket, founded in 2012, is a company that produces sesame oil and perilla oil. The company explained that it has obtained both HACCP and Smart HACCP certifications, and maintains the best quality by selecting high-quality raw materials through strict quality inspection and conducting contract cultivation. In addition, we are breaking away from the traditional method and introducing a low-temperature pressing method to bring out the natural flavor of sesame and perilla seeds.
This exhibition also showcases its main products, sesame oil and perilla oil. Sesame oil, which preserves the natural taste of domestic whole sesame seeds, does not have a strong scent like existing traditional oils, but its subtle scent and soft taste are considered advantages, and it goes well with Western food and salads. Queen’s Bucket also pointed out that its perilla oil contains a large amount of omega-3. Produced in 5ml pouch sticks for healthy oil consumption, it can also be used as a substitute for olive oil or butter.
A Queens Bucket official said, “About 70% of domestic sesame oil and perilla oil consumption is made through traditional mills. “There are many customers using traditional mills, but the development of mills seems slow,” he said. “Accordingly, our company is trying to solve the aging of oil manufacturing facilities that were made using traditional methods, and at the same time, focusing on making healthy, fresh premium oil, and creating modern, fresh oils.” “We introduced technology and sanitary facilities,” he explained.
Queens Bucket participated in the 5 FIC Event held in Hamburg, Germany in May of this year, and was selected as an ingredient in dishes prepared by local chefs at the time. This served as an opportunity to get a glimpse of the potential of sesame oil and perilla oil in Europe. It is known that Queen’s Bucket’s sesame oil and perilla oil are currently being used in Michelin restaurants located in New York, USA.
An official said, “Our company is also very interested in environmental issues. Rather than discarding the oil residue left after oil extraction, we are researching ways to reuse it, and making upcycling products by making the most of by-products. We are developing and selling cosmetic products containing oil cake, and the recently released sesame crackers are also gaining popularity. “Crackers are currently distributed primarily for school lunches, and we plan to supply them to large distributors as well.”
