    Sekongde (CEO Kang Doo-ri) held the ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26 (Wed) to 28 (Fri). ‘ and introduced the spread brand ‘SE CON DAIRE’.

    Based on the slogan of ‘A catalyst for you’, Sekongde, a company specializing in premium sub-food culture, is introducing a variety of spread products with the goal of completing a rich and fresh dining experience as side dishes served with main dishes.

    Spread is a French food made by reviving the flesh and adding wine or spices and cooking it. It is a premium dessert that is in the middle of jam and cheong. It is known that it is gaining great popularity around hotels and brunch shops because it can be eaten with main dishes such as rice, noodles, bread, drinks, ice cream, and salad.

    Above all, it manufactures spreads through its own patented technology, ‘COMPOTE’, and explains that it is pursuing healthy premium food with low sugar and calories.

    Representative products include ‘Rich Berry’ and ‘Apple Mango Passion’, and organic jam developed with 10/1th of the calories is also introduced. In this exhibition, fermented spreads that taste like red pepper paste for export were also introduced.

    CEO Doo-Ri Kang said, “I started this business to directly communicate with customers and convey the know-how accumulated over the past 10 years in the food service R&D research center in line with changes in food culture trends in a more diverse food culture.” By enjoying it, we are trying to create a sub food culture that anyone can enjoy easily and in various ways, anywhere.”

    Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
