Altair, a global leader in computer science and artificial intelligence (AI), announced that it will participate in ‘InterBattery 15’ held at COEX, Seoul from the 17th (Wed) to the 2023th (Fri).

Altair plans to introduce an electric vehicle battery development process solution based on simulation and AI technology at this exhibition. At the booth in the exhibition hall, various technologies such as battery material particle and process analysis, battery management system (BMS), battery thermal flow analysis, and battery safety test simulation are displayed.

In addition, Altair’s simulation technology will also provide a space where you can directly experience the thermal runaway phenomenon that occurs when an electric vehicle crashes in VR (virtual reality). Through VR, visitors can realistically check the phenomena occurring inside the electric vehicle with a built-in battery.

On the 16th, Shim Jeong-gil, part manager of Altair, will introduce a solution that improves battery process efficiency by simulating the same model as the real one on a computer under the theme of ‘Digital Twin of Secondary Battery Process’.

“Altair is cooperating with domestic and foreign secondary battery companies and continuing to develop technology specialized in battery processes,” said Yu Eun-ha, head of Altair Korea. I will do my best,” he said.
