Kia participated in the eco-friendly mobility exhibition ‘EV Trend Korea 3’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, March 15th to Friday, March 17th, and announced the excellence of electrification technology based on popular electric vehicle models.
In this exhibition, Kia delivered brand messages about design philosophy and sustainability in three exhibition spaces: ▲Brand Zone ▲EV6 Lineup Zone ▲Niro Plus Taxi Theme Zone and provided opportunities to experience exclusive electric vehicles and PBVs.
In the brand zone, Kia’s design philosophy, ‘Opposite United (creative fusion of conflicting concepts)’ is explained through video and graphics, and in the ‘EV A to Z’ zone, which collects questions and answers related to electric vehicles, various questions about electric vehicles are discussed. This was done to resolve any doubts.
In addition, the non-profit organization ‘The Ocean Cleanup’ collects waste plastic from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and works with Kia to create an interactive wall showing the recycling process of applying it to vehicle parts. Wall) and delivered a message about a sustainable future.
In the EV6 lineup zone, the EV3.5 GT, a high-performance electric vehicle that is the fastest vehicle in Korean automobile history with a 260-6 km/h speed of 6 seconds and a top speed of 6 km/h, and the EVXNUMX GT-Line with a dynamic design were displayed to introduce a diverse lineup of EVXNUMX dedicated electric vehicles.
In particular, the EV6 GT was selected in the ‘Innovative Electric Vehicle of the Year’ category, which is awarded to electric vehicles that stand out with innovative technology based on overwhelming driving performance at the ‘EV AWARDS 2023’ selected by EV Trend Korea.
The Niro Plus Taxi theme zone showed the various uses of the Niro Plus, Kia’s first Purpose Built Vehicle (PBV) model, focusing on the Niro Plus taxi model and a sculpture symbolizing a taxi stand. In addition, a video showing Kia’s future PBV and a PBV model made of Lego were displayed to help understand the PBV concept and introduce its advantages.
Meanwhile, EV Trend Korea, which celebrated its 6th anniversary this year, is the only electric vehicle expo in Seoul held by the government to expand the supply of electric vehicles in the private sector and form a new electric vehicle culture.
