FITI Testing & Research Institute (President Kim Hwa-young) announced that it will participate in the ‘8 International Environment and Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 30)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan for three days from Wednesday, August 1 to Friday, September 3.
FITI Testing & Research Institute is the first internationally recognized testing institute of KOLAS, the National Agency for Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Since its establishment in 1, FITI Testing & Research Institute has provided testing and certification services in various industrial fields such as textiles, fashion, consumer goods, industrial materials, mobility, environment, and bio. is providing.
Equipped with professional manpower and cutting-edge testing and inspection equipment, it operates in ▲textile and fashion fields such as clothing and special clothing ▲consumer goods fields such as household goods, children’s products, furniture, and packaging materials ▲automotive electronic parts, interior and exterior materials, civil engineering and building materials, schools and outdoor sports facilities, etc. Industrial materials such as electrical and electronic materials ▲ We carry out testing, inspection, certification, verification, education, consulting, and research and development in the environmental and bio fields such as water quality, drinking water, air, soil, waste, cosmetics, and household chemical products. . In addition, we have established overseas branches and offices in four countries: China, the United States, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and have established a global network through business partnerships with overseas testing and certification institutions to help our companies advance overseas and revitalize exports.
In order to lead the reduction of fine dust, FITI Testing and Research Institute has been working with local governments such as Chungcheongbuk-do and Cheongju City to design a corporate support model for fine dust reduction in the industrial sector. Based on this model, we were finally selected as a project executor of the ‘Industrial Environment Improvement Support Center Construction Project’ hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2021 and related infrastructure is being prepared, and as part of this, we will be the first in Korea to reduce fine dust in the industrial sector in July 2022. The Industrial Environment Improvement Support Center, a specialized technical support center, was opened. Accordingly, we are recruiting companies to participate in the Industrial Environment Improvement Support Center’s corporate support program until November 7th of this year.
In order to achieve the goal of reducing industrial fine dust emissions and resolve the difficulties of related companies, the FITI Testing & Research Institute Industrial Environment Improvement Support Center provides ▲reduction technology performance verification ▲reduction technology Lab demonstration ▲on-site measurement and analysis ▲customized performance verification ▲customized on-site consulting. ▲ Various support programs, including support for technology development, are being prepared to support companies with fine dust reduction technology and manufacturing plants that emit fine dust.
As a specific program, ‘customized performance verification’ for companies with abatement technology goes one step further than simple performance verification of abatement technology materials, parts, and equipment, and supports performance improvement of fine dust abatement technology, product/technology development, and technology consulting before improvement. ·Provides subsequent performance verification and field application demonstration.
‘Customized on-site consulting’ for emission manufacturing businesses identifies the process from pollutant generation to discharge, derives improvement plans, supports matching reduction technologies with small and medium-sized companies possessing reduction technologies, and even analyzes the expected introduction effects. In order to respond to the difficulties of manufacturers emitting fine dust, we provide customized diagnostic consulting from experts for replacement of prevention facilities, process improvement, and operation management, and provide solutions to reduce air pollutants related to fine dust.
An official from FITI Testing & Research Institute said, “This research institute, together with Chungcheongbuk-do and Cheongju City, invested a total project cost of 275 billion won, and in July of last year, opened Korea’s first industrial sector fine dust reduction specialized technical support center with 7 underground floor, 1 above-ground floors, and a total floor area of 3㎡. “We opened a facility to strengthen technological competitiveness by supporting technology development and commercialization through performance verification for companies with fine dust reduction technology, and support precise diagnosis of the source and matching of reduction technology for fine dust-emitting manufacturing sites to reduce industrial emissions.” Contributing to the reduction of fine dust. In recognition of its contribution to improving the industrial environment, FITI Testing & Research Institute was awarded a bronze medal in the group category at the 5,900th Cheongju City Environmental Awards Ceremony on June 6.”
He continued, “Even after the end of this year’s business, FITI Testing & Research Institute plans to strengthen testing and certification services related to fine dust reduction for small and medium-sized companies, centering on the Industrial Environment Improvement Support Center,” and added, “We will improve the air environment by reducing industrial fine dust emissions.” “I will actively participate in creating a blue sky that has never existed before.”
