Minister of Food and Drug Safety Oh Yoo-kyung met with U.S. FDA Director Robert Khalif on the occasion of President Yoon Seok-yeol’s state visit to the United States, discussed cooperation in the digital health field, and signed a memorandum of cooperation. Director Chae then introduced the medical device regulatory reform that the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has been promoting since last year. The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety held a meeting on June 2.0 with organizations related to medical device manufacturing, import, distribution, and technical document review to ensure smooth progress of major policies in related fields, such as the promotion of regulatory innovation 6 in the medical device field.
