Welt participated in the ‘6 International Advanced Medical Devices and Medical Industry Exhibition (KOAMEX 30)’ held at EXCO in Daegu for 7 days from Friday, June 2th to Sunday, July 3nd.
At this exhibition, Welt introduced ‘PilLow Rx’, a digital treatment for insomnia. PillLow Rx is a digital treatment that provides an insomnia treatment solution based on solid medical evidence. Through a cognitive behavioral therapy program specialized for insomnia, problems with thoughts, actions, and habits that affect sleep can be improved.
A Welt official said, “We received medical device approval last April. Patients install and use the app, and doctors diagnose the data. “It has built-in programs such as sleeping pill check, today’s mission, and sleep diary that allows you to check your daily life patterns,” he explained.
Through digital treatment for insomnia, an individual’s sleep pattern can be analyzed and an appropriate sleep time and habit can be prescribed. An official said, “Sleeping pills are recommended for short-term use for sleep aid purposes rather than treatment,” and added, “PilLow Rx is a non-invasive software medical device that has significantly fewer side effects compared to drugs and has long-term effects through cognitive and behavioral changes.”
