Eustarpharm Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Eun-ju) participated in the ‘5 Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition (SEOUL FOOD 30)’ held at KINTEX in Goyang for 6 days from Tuesday, May 2 to Friday, June 4.
Eustafarm is a company specializing in processed agricultural and marine products located in Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, and manufactures and sells meal kits through its own brand called ‘Jadambadam (Putting nature in the right way)’. The company explains that it provides products with proven quality and safety by applying strict standards for selecting raw materials, and supplies clean food through food safety management certification, hazard analysis, and critical control point certification.
Eustafarm, which set up a booth in the Jeonbuk Chamber of Commerce hall decorated with a newtro concept at Seoul Food 2023, is a company participating in the traditional food marketing revitalization project conducted by Jeollabuk-do (Governor Kim Kwan-young) and Jeonbuk Bio Convergence Industry Promotion Agency (Director Lee Eun-mi). At this exhibition, Eusta Farm presented two types of its meal kits, including ‘Original Jungsan House Jeonju Mulgalbi Hotpot’ and ‘Jadambadam Deliciously Spicy Seasoned Octopus’.
This product, which is the first meal kit version of Jeonju Mulgalbi, a representative local dish of Jeonju, where the headquarters is located, was manufactured by implementing the recipe of a parent company in Junghwasan-dong, Jeonju, famous for its Hanok Village.
Regarding this, Park Na-rae, manager of Eustafarm, said, “This recipe has already received a positive response from many tourists and local residents who have visited the restaurant,” and added, “We are currently assessing when to begin online sales in earnest, and through this exhibition, we hope to reach consumers one step earlier.” “I wanted to present it to everyone,” he explained.
Seasoned octopus is a product that drives Eustafarm’s performance, and Eustafarm emphasized that it boasts a differentiated taste thanks to 100% natural octopus and seasoning that has been aged for 36 hours. The ingredients used were organic brown sugar produced locally in Jeollabuk-do, pears from Iseo-myeon, Wanju-gun, and shiitake mushrooms from Jeongeup-si. In addition, HACCP-certified peppers and garlic, and red pepper paste from Sunchang-gun were used to ensure both reliability and taste.
Manager Park said, “We are continuously investing the company’s capabilities in discovering new menus and recipes and manufacturing them into meal kits,” adding, “Our goal is to enable consumers across the country to easily enjoy local flavors at their own tables. “We will continue to focus on research and development,” he said.
