Hyperwall (CEO Ahn Hee-seok) will participate in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19th to Friday, May 2023th. revealed.

Hyperwall is a domestic company with specialized capabilities in implementing large-scale display utilization technology. The company explains that, unlike other competitors who have focused on display hardware, it has secured a differentiated position with a business strategy that focuses on developing an IP-based video wall software platform.

Based on high-performance hardware, it provides usability, flexibility, scalability, and work convenience, and is developing a 3rd generation media wall solution that leads to metaverse and artificial intelligence (AI).

This exhibition will showcase a new version (V8.0) of the next-generation IP wall controller system ‘Hyperwall’ named after the company. This standardizes all APIs with the goal of integrated control in the metaverse space and provides the ability to analyze user patterns with AI functions.

In addition, ultra-high resolution images and videos of 10 billion pixels or more can be handled using patented distributed processing technology, enabling smooth display of high-capacity images and streaming. The system also boasts excellent levels of flexibility, scalability, and security.

It also has a variety of features that improve convenience in building and operating a very large video wall. To enable optimal use according to operational purposes, arbitrary zones can be configured separately on the extra-large LED wall, and by granting operating rights to different users for each zone, various images can be displayed on one screen. It also supports the ‘HyperView Quantum’ function, which prevents tearing that occurs when playing high-resolution video.

In addition, a smart industrial safety system can be built based on distributed visualization technology and a real-time interactive broadcasting system developed with support from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Hyperwall has commercialized this and is supplying a solution domestically to protect the safety of workers exposed to the risk of serious disasters.

Hee-seok Ahn, CEO of Hyperwall, said, “By linking real-time integrated control and monitoring technology with the Metaverse platform, we expect to be able to realize a futuristic integrated monitoring and control system with an advanced digital twin.” He added, “Under this goal, we will use our technology and development capabilities. “As a result of our improvements, we have been able to achieve rapid growth every year, and we will continue these efforts in the future.”

Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
