Daeyoung Chaevi was established in 2016 and has steadily increased its investment in research and development (R&D) by more than 30% every year. As a result, it has grown from just 3 people in the beginning to a company with 300 professionals within 7 years of its founding. Currently, private charging operators are operating a total of 5,000 self-charging infrastructure, including ultra-fast and rapid chargers, and through this, they are also providing electric vehicle charging services.
In particular, the company explains that it has launched a subscription-type rate plan called ‘Chaebi Pass’ that takes into account the various charging environments of customers, and is receiving a high response from users. In addition, we are leading the domestic charging market through innovative charging services, such as introducing ‘CHAVI STAY’, a complex cultural space in Gangnam, Seocho, and Seongsu, where you can relax and experience various lifestyles in a comfortable space during charging time.
At CES 2023, Daeyoung Chaebi introduced the 400kW ultra-fast charger ‘HIGHCONIC’, the 200kW fast charger ‘DUOCONIC’, which was selected for the Innovation Award, and the ‘Prebook system for EV charging’.
The charging preemption system is a system that links with electric vehicle chargers and allows charging reservations in advance through an application (app). This has already been commercialized through the ‘Preemption’ service in domestic equipment apps, thereby increasing the convenience of using charging services for electric vehicle users.
Through this system, it is possible to quickly identify and preempt available chargers along the route, allowing charging without waiting at a charging station, and power suppliers can predict power use through preemption information, enabling efficient operation of the entire city’s power supply.
In recognition of its technological prowess and innovation, Daeyoung Chaevi was selected for the Innovation Award in the smart city field at CES 2023, and has recently completed patent applications in 18 global countries.
In addition to exporting chargers using this service to the United States and Canada, Daeyoung Chaevi provides excellent charging services in North America through overseas business expansion. North American electric vehicle users can now directly experience the convenient charging service that won the CES Innovation Award in North America.
