At KOBA 2023, a multi-purpose mobile lighting tower that can be moved by vehicle and 1200W and 800W LED high-output floodlights will be exhibited.
The mobile lighting tower is a multi-purpose lighting tower that raises the tower to a height of 6m in an outdoor environment and creates a high-illuminance environment using Jinwoo Eltech’s high-output floodlight. It is lightweight with a 5-stage aluminum profile pipe, and is designed to stably raise the heavy upper structure using a chain hoist method.
Regarding this, a Jinwoo Eltech official said, “It is the only design in Korea where the power and control lines are retracted inside, so the cables are not exposed to the outside of the tower. “The positioning camera system on the top of the lighting tower allows the camera and lighting to rotate at an angle of 355° left and right, and is differentiated in that it moves up and down 20° to -70°,” he said. “The mobile lighting tower is suitable for construction sites, film production companies, broadcasting equipment, and farming.” He explained, “It is convenient because it can be used in a variety of places with the advantage of being able to be temporarily erected in areas that require lighting at night, such as outdoors in areas or golf courses.”
Another advantage is that it can be customized in various ways, such as trailer type or vehicle-mounted type, depending on user requirements. Power supply can also be customized, such as self-generation or external power supply.
An aluminum die-casting body and IP66 waterproof and dustproof design were applied through thermodynamic simulation, and Jinwoo Eltech’s unique patented rough angle gear device and SMPS heat dissipation heat sink design were applied. It was also emphasized that it was produced based on many years of accumulated experience and technology, including a flicker-free design optimized for the broadcasting environment.
Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presents next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
