Dasan SR Co., Ltd. (CEO Soon-mo Kang) participated in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19 to Friday, May 2023. .
Dasan SR is a professional audio equipment importer and system developer, specialized in system design, consulting, installation, and construction in fields that require cutting-edge information and communication media.
This exhibition mainly featured the high-output cloud amplifier ‘UNICA’ from Powersoft, a leading professional audio power amplifier company. Powersoft leads the way in system integration, operation, and audio performance through advanced DSP technology and software, providing high-quality sound and high-safety products to sound rental companies, stadiums, performance halls, churches, and convention centers.
Powersoft’s ‘UNICA’ was introduced as providing sustainability that is compatible with future technological changes in any installation environment when talking about sound quality, power density, efficiency, and processing ability. It consists of a programmable GPIO, a port for monitoring the amplifier status, and a port for accessing an external Internet network, and can be safely integrated into various types of networks.
DasanSR said, “Powersoft has sufficient output for power-sharing between amplifier channels. “You can make more detailed settings through ‘Armonia Plus,’ a software that can control all of these things.”
Meanwhile, the KOBA exhibition, co-hosted by Korea E&X and the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association, was held for the first time in 1991 to improve domestic broadcasting culture and develop the media, sound, and lighting industries, and celebrated its 31st anniversary this year. KOBA 2023, held at COEX Halls A, C, and D, presented next-generation broadcasting services and the future of the media, sound, and lighting industries. In particular, during the exhibition period, it provides an opportunity to acquire professional information related to broadcasting and sound through the International Broadcasting Technology Conference hosted by the Korea Broadcasting Engineers Association and the sound-related professional technology seminar hosted by the Korea Sound Artists Association and the Acoustical Society of Korea.
