The Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association (Chairman Hong Seong-min) will participate in the International Green Energy Expo held at EXCO in Daegu from April 4th to 12th to revitalize industrial complex solar power and operate a special exhibition and special session on industrial complex solar power.

The association plans to share the current status of industrial complex solar power through special industrial complex solar power pavilions and special sessions, diagnose technical and policy challenges, and explore new industrial complex solar power models. Through the industrial complex solar power model, the association provides a view of everything about industrial complex solar power at a glance, including modules, BIPV, inverters, roof structures (repair/renewal materials), power generation increase/precision prediction solutions, construction, O&M, power generation business, power trading, etc. Industrial complex rooftop solar power hardware and software will be on display.

Jeong Woo-sik, full-time vice president of the Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association, said, “Industrial complex solar power is rapidly emerging as an important solution as its supply potential exceeds 50GWh and has many special advantages.” He added, “Through the operation of the International Green Energy Expo special pavilion and special sessions, interest in industrial complex energy is growing. “We plan to explore new business models to expand solar power in industrial complexes, including effective policies,” he said.

Meanwhile, the association plans to hold a National Assembly debate on the current status and tasks for revitalizing solar power in industrial complexes at the National Assembly Hall on the 28th in order to examine obstacles to the spread of solar power in industrial complexes and find effective policies and new business models. am.

At the discussion, Vice Chairman Jeong Woo-sik will appear as a speaker and give a presentation on ‘Status of solar energy in industrial complexes and plans for revitalization.’ Next, Seok-gyu Yoon, CEO of Isolar Energy, Chae-ho Song, CEO of Korea Solar System, Industrial Complex Promotion Office of the Industrial Complex Corporation, Dae-hyuk Kwon, head of the Energy Industry Department of Gwangju Metropolitan City, Geum-yong Kwon, head of the Energy Industry Department of Daegu City, and Yong-tae Kim, head of the Renewable Energy Industry Department of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, attended the panel.
