Shinsung ENG announced that it will participate in the ’12th International Green Energy Expo’, the largest new and renewable energy exhibition in Korea, to be held for three days from the 14th to the 3th.
At this exhibition, Shinsung ENG introduces high-efficiency, high-output solar modules using next-generation technology.
The N-type TOPCon cell-based bifacial solar module, considered one of the next-generation technologies, will be introduced in Korea for the first time. This product is characterized by improved efficiency by forming a thin oxide film on an N-type wafer, which is advantageous for increasing power generation efficiency.
The ‘550W high-power bifacial module’ is a product that uses a large-area solar cell (M10). Having obtained the first grade in accordance with the carbon verification system, it is contributing to strengthening the eco-friendliness of solar module products and reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.
‘Water type solar modules’ that can be used in rivers, lakes, and the sea are also exhibited. Increased durability to withstand salt and high humidity. Shinsung ENG is proving its competitiveness by participating in large and small national projects such as the installation of floating solar power plants. As the Ministry of Environment recently announced plans to build a total of 2030 GW (gigawatt) of floating solar power generation facilities by 1.1, demand is expected to grow further in the future.
We also provide solutions to achieve RE100. Shinsung ENG installed solar modules on the roof and idle land of the Yongin Smart Factory, using 40% of the factory’s operation as renewable energy, realizing a 96% carbon reduction. Sharing this know-how and experience, we help domestic companies achieve RE100.
Shinsung ENG said, “We will lead the related market based on differentiated technology, such as developing solar modules using HJT and perovskite cells, which are evaluated as having the highest power generation efficiency beyond N-type.” The launch of an open platform that connects operators and RE100 consumers will also contribute to the activation of renewable energy transactions.”
Meanwhile, a total of 4 companies and 200 visitors are expected to visit this expo hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do and Daegu Metropolitan City and supervised by four domestic new and renewable energy associations, including the Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association.
