DK is a company specializing in the development of home appliance parts and precision molds that started its business in Gwangju in 1993. It is a key partner of Samsung Electronics that supplies processed steel products such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and air conditioners, as well as metal kimchi containers for kimchi refrigerators. Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong also attracted attention by visiting the DK production site as his first official move after taking office.
DK was selected as the Gwangju joint brand ‘GIEL’, which was developed for the purpose of expanding the sales channel for small and medium-sized home appliances in the Gwangju area, and participated in the Gwangju joint brand promotion center operated by Gwangju City and Gwangju Techno Park.
