Dongnam Realize unveils CXP flame retardant grade products at CES 2023

Dongnam Realize is a company that produces CXP wood, a wood material capable of thermoplastic molding processing such as injection and extrusion. With CXP wood, we want to create a culture of using trees where both producers and consumers can easily participate in making the forest beneficial.

CXP wood is a material that can be used in existing plastic factories, and most plastic products found in daily life can be replaced with wood products. By-products naturally generated during forestry and agricultural processes are processed and distributed in a form that can be melted in factories. Dongnam Realize explained that this reduces waste generated in the forestry industry and can store carbon through commercialization, greatly helping to reduce the absolute amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

The CXP flame retardant wooden multi-tap introduced at this exhibition has a flame retardant function even though it is made of wood. It is a user-friendly product that is non-toxic not only for general high-temperature flame retardancy tests, but also for low-temperature fires equivalent to domestic fires.

An official from Dongnam Realize said, “We wanted to change the prejudice that people have about wood materials that they are weak to fire and difficult to use. Since launching CXP materials for the first time in August 2021, we have achieved sales of 8 billion won in 100 in just one year, including entering more than 1 zero waste shops (eco-friendly stores),” he said. “We are researching companies and applications, and for some companies, the application and use period have been decided, so we expect to see the application of CXP materials in many large companies within 2022 to 10 years.”

Pulse Nine unveils its proprietary virtual human production technology ‘Deep Real AI’ at CES 2023!

Pulse Nine is a company that was established in 2017 and has been developing various contents. We have created a ‘virtual human’ based on our accumulated research and development experience in the field of 3D graphics technology, and based on this, we are seeking to diversify content and applying it to our business. As a representative example, last year, the first virtual K-pop group ‘ETERNITY’, with outstanding looks and a unique worldview, was unveiled and a virtual idol entertainment business was launched.

Pulse Nine’s Eternity is a virtual human group created with their proprietary ‘Deep Real AI’. Deep Real AI is a realistic virtual character AI service developed to reflect the needs for real-time broadcasting of virtual influencers in the live commerce market, and is characterized by the application of Pulse Nine’s proprietary image data pre-processing process.

Based on this, when learning a virtual character creation model, high-quality modeling is possible in a relatively short period of time, and the result has the distinction of being able to implement not only basic speech and activities, but even ‘mukbang’, which requires high technical skills.

Pulse Nine plans to target the global market through Eternity, a virtual K-pop girl group created by concentrating its technology. Starting with the first song, ‘I’m real’, they have released various singles and music videos, and as a result, a fandom called ‘Eternal’ was spontaneously created in 49 countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and South America. The company explains that based on this popularity, it will develop a full-scale ‘culture technology show business’ business.

A Pulse Nine official said, “We expect to be able to increase the influence of our content and technology at this CES. Afterwards, we plan to expand our market dominance through vertical integration not only in sales but also in technology, content, and distribution structure,” he said. “Based on future performance, we will continue to reinvest in the development of our own characters and technologies, and use this as a driving force to target the global B2C market.” “The goal is to build a virtuous cycle structure.”

Seven Point One unveils AI-based non-face-to-face testing solution ‘Alzwin’ at CES 2023

Seven Point One is a digital healthcare startup that analyzes conversation content to identify high-risk dementia patients at an early stage and develops solutions to improve cognitive abilities and depression through VR (virtual reality) content. To date, we have completed 10 patent registrations in related fields, and have attracted investment from Naver D2SF in recognition of the business feasibility of our technology.

Based on this, we are continuing to grow by expanding our business, focusing on Naver Cloud and local governments. In addition, the company explains that it is continuing to successfully collaborate with various public institutions, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and medical institutions at home and abroad.

At this exhibition, Seven Point One introduced ‘AlzWIN’, an AI-based non-face-to-face testing solution. This is a simple interactive test that can be completed within 1 to 2 minutes, and the main purpose of the solution is to determine the risk of cognitive decline in elderly test subjects.

It boasts high usability as it can be applied to all devices capable of voice recognition, and its feature is that it provides immediate results after analyzing the cognitive ability of the test subject through AI technology. Based on these advantages, test subjects can regularly check their cognitive health status and track and manage it over a long period of time, as if using a personal vital measuring device.

A Seven Point One official said, “The prevailing view is that the aging phenomenon will continue throughout the world for the next 30 years. “With this rapid aging trend, the number of dementia patients and elderly depression patients is also rapidly increasing,” he said. “In particular, according to research results published by the University of Michigan, the rate of undiagnosed dementia among potential dementia patients in the United States reaches 91.4%. “To solve this problem, a solution that can diagnose and prevent dementia at an early stage was absolutely essential, and we wanted to find a solution in artificial intelligence,” he said, explaining the development background.

Prinew unveils new drone ‘Rupel’ at CES 2023!
