Icon Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Cheol-min), a young start-up company from Gwangju, announced that it will participate in ‘CES 1’ held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 5 days from January 8th (Thursday) to 4th (Sunday, local time) and introduce a small sterilizing dryer.
ICON is a local youth venture company founded in 2016 by young people led by CEO Park Cheol-min. We directly manage the entire process from ideation to production and sales. The core item is a brand called ‘Irefit’. Based on high sales volume, it is solidifying its position in the small sterilizer/disinfector market.
In particular, ICON was recognized for its technological prowess and was selected for the Gwangju joint brand ‘GIEL’, which was developed for the purpose of expanding the sales channel for small and medium-sized home appliances in the Gwangju region. ICON, which participated in the CES 2023 Gwangju joint brand promotion hall operated by Gwangju City and Gwangju Techno Park, will display iRefit tumbler sterilizing dryer, iRefit Air (air/tumbler sterilizing dryer), iRefit Bebe (portable pacifier sterilizer), Iripit Bebe Plus (portable baby bottle sterilizing dryer) is on display.
For these products, sterilization and drying functions are activated through UV (ultraviolet rays) LED and FAN. It has recently been receiving favorable reviews from consumers as it prevents bacterial growth and can be sterilized and disinfected using safe ultraviolet rays. In particular, it was designed with light weight, small size, and a simple and soft image. An official from the local home appliance industry said, “It is meaningful that young people’s unique ideas are introduced to the world,” and added, “I hope we get good results.”
Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA.
