HITS (CEO Kim Woo-yeon) is introducing its cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) new drug development platform to the world stage.

Hitz announced on the 5th that it will participate in CES 8, the world’s largest home appliance and IT exhibition, to be held in Las Vegas, USA from the 2023th to 27th of next month (local time) and unveil its AI new drug development platform ‘ONE Platform’.

Hitz, participating in CES for the first time, will set up a booth at the KAIST Pavilion in Eureka Park, where startups from around the world gather, and provide an opportunity to directly experience the ONE platform.

The ONE platform is a cloud-based research collaboration tool for new drug development researchers and is scheduled to be officially launched in 2023. Its strength is that HEETS’ unique drug-protein interaction prediction and drug structure design AI technology can be used in one’s own research with a simple operation on the web. The explanation is that more efficient research is possible through digitalization of prediction and experimental data, and collaboration between researchers is improved through cloud-based data sharing.

HITS, co-founded by Kim Woo-yeon, professor of chemistry at KAIST, utilizes cutting-edge digital technologies such as AI and cloud to innovate the existing inefficient new drug development paradigm. Earlier this year, it attracted Series A investment worth 55 billion won from Korea Investment Partners, Kiwoom Investment, and Capstone Partners.

Jae-Chang Lim, Director of HITZ, expressed his ambition, saying, “Through this CES, we are happy to inform the global market about how the ONE platform is changing the research experience of new drug development.” He added, “We will focus on informing the future of new drug development that HITZ envisions.”

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
