Korea Research Institute of Technology (CEO Wontae Lee) announced that it will participate in the ‘Drone Show Korea 2’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 23rd (Thursday) to 25th (Saturday).
Korea Engineering & Construction is a company that researches, develops, and manufactures glove boxes using technology accumulated over about 1985 years since its founding in 40. The company explained that its quality and stability are recognized by universities, research institutes, and companies based on its experience in manufacturing equipment and developing technology that meets the requirements of domestic and foreign customers. Based on trust in our abundant technological capabilities, we are engaged in businesses such as secondary batteries, displays, solar cells, nuclear energy, and bio, and are constantly developing technologies through national projects. Through this, we are exporting to the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.

At this exhibition, a smart carrier developed and released in-house will be exhibited. An affiliate of Korea Institute of Technology said, “We will use this as an opportunity to share the direction of the future air mobility industry by developing a smart carrier as an integrated product to prevent secondary infection and save the lives of patients suspected of being infected with the virus and patients requiring emergency transport. Participate to do so. “In addition, we are producing equipment needed for the battery development industry, which is central to the air mobility industry, so we participated to promote this.”
Smart Carrier can prevent secondary infections when transporting emergency patients or infectious disease patients. It is a hard case-type product that is more durable than existing vinyl-type portable negative pressure chambers, and is a solution that connects ground and air. Due to the nature of Korea, which has many islands and mountains, air transport is essential for urgent treatment of patients, and this product was developed with increased perfection to monitor the patient’s risk status and share data with medical staff. Smart Carrier was developed through a national project and plans to obtain GMP medical device manufacturing process certification. It has completed registration with the U.S. and Korean Public Procurement Service and is preparing to supply to domestic and overseas procurement markets.
An official said, “In the early days of COVID-2020 in 19, we were able to contribute to society by responding to the threat of infectious diseases through Walkthrough (COVID-XNUMX virus testing booth), which was first developed with Korea Instruments’ isolation technology. Based on these successful experiences, we developed equipment for the safe and rapid transfer of patients suspected of having infectious diseases and emergency patients through a national project,” he said. “Based on this, we will proceed with convergence with the air mobility industry to build a patient transport system suitable for Korea.” “We do it,” he emphasized.

He also revealed his achievements so far and his future plans. An official said, “As the No. 1 glove box brand in Korea, our company supplies more than 4000 units of equipment to major research institutes and universities, and is contributing to battery development. In addition, we hold key patents and are expanding the scope of equipment functionality in the field by sharing research results and experiences with major research institutes and universities.” “We are contributing to the safety of humanity.”
He continued, “Even in the battery industry, where competition for global leadership is fierce, Korea Instruments’ battery production glove boxes are being used in research and manufacturing all over the world. “Through many years of research, we discovered that nitrogen causes problems in battery production and developed a nitrogen removal system. By providing this optimal total solution, we will contribute to improving battery production quality,” he said. “Convergence of smart carrier and air mobility. “We will provide a safe and convenient work total solution that can develop the isolation technology essential to prevent secondary infection in the industrial field and the battery performance of air mobility,” he said.
