The HiQ series, newly developed by Herrmann Ultrasonics, a company specializing in ultrasonic welding, has enhanced accessibility so that customers can perform welding more easily and intuitively, and programs can be set to manage welding products individually.
An Ecosonic official emphasized, “As a replacement for Herrmann Ultrasonics’ HS and PS DIALOG, the HiQ series has innovative features and performance.”
The heart of the machine is the new pneumatic HMC driver system, which combines the dynamics of an electric drive with the advantages of pneumatics, allowing the user to select the starting point for the welding process. With the support of soft touch mode, the detailed welding design of the plastic product to be welded protects the horn from impacts that occur when it comes into contact with the welded product.
In addition, the company explained that the process-oriented user interface ensures high usability. Equipment for this standard includes Ethernet, USB and print connections. The QCS-NTN quick change system allows the option to change ultrasonic stacks without tools.
