Lotte Group announced on the 22nd that it will operate the Lotte Information Communication and Lotte Healthcare exhibition halls at CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, starting from the 5th of next month (local time) to reveal future products such as metaverse services and healthcare integration platforms.
Lotte Data Communication, which is participating in CES for the second year in a row, plans to set up an exhibition hall three times larger than the one at the beginning of this year and present metaverse and electric vehicle charging business models. Their Metaverse Zone will showcase ultra-realistic Metaverse services based on subsidiary Caliverse and HMD.
This is expected to allow 30 people to access one virtual space at the same time, allowing visitors to communicate with each other and experience a variety of experiences. In addition, we plan to set up a ‘virtual store’ with Lotte Duty Free, Lotte Hi-Mart, and 7-Eleven, and allow customers to experience clothing, cosmetics, home appliances, etc. and enjoy interactive games.
The electric vehicle charging zone focuses on promoting the electric vehicle charging platform ‘EVISYS’ of Central Control, a subsidiary of Lotte Data Communication, and the electric vehicle charging patents and technologies. The company explains that it will introduce a full lineup of electric vehicle chargers, including products that have obtained CE certification in Europe and products that are pursuing UL certification in the U.S., and will also focus on targeting overseas markets.
Lotte Data Communication CEO Noh Jun-hyung said, “We plan to introduce an upgraded Metaverse platform and present a business model that can create various synergies with our partners.”

This is a healthcare platform that recommends products based on individual diagnosis when you register a medical examination through an application (app). Cazel plans to begin full-scale service in August after beta service in April next year, and the commercialized version will additionally utilize various information such as genetic testing and medical data.
In addition, Lotte Chemical will participate in the Seoul Technology Center and exhibit carbon dioxide capture and utilization (CCU) and vanadium ion battery energy storage system (VIB ESS).
