SDT’s participation in CES 2023 was achieved through the joint participation of the Korea Water Resources Corporation’s private enterprise ‘K-water’ in order to support the innovative growth of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent technological capabilities. Through this exhibition, SDT plans to introduce industrial DX solutions, including eco-friendly smart manholes, and conduct corporate IR for overseas buyers, VCs and ACs.
In particular, in line with the Korea Water Resources Corporation’s CES 2023 ‘K-water Pavilion’ theme of ‘Water-Energy-City Nexus’, SDT is also actively seeking opportunities for overseas expansion of the DX solution ‘Eco-friendly Smart Manhole’ jointly developed with new material manhole manufacturer Daesung Tech. percussion
‘Eco-friendly smart manhole’, an intelligent sensor system that provides insight into the urban environment, standardizes measurement data collected through heterogeneous sensors with a manhole cover made of environmentally friendly high polymer material that enables communication, allowing multiple indicators to be monitored on one screen. It provides the most optimized IoT monitoring technology by forming a smart hub. It is attracting attention as an IoT monitoring technology that not only prevents safety accidents for workers and citizens but also greatly improves facility maintenance efficiency through advance detection of various risk factors such as fire, sewage backflow, and harmful gas leaks that may occur in the underground environment.
Jiwon Yoon, CEO of SDT, said, “The market for industrial IoT monitoring technologies such as eco-friendly smart manholes is rapidly expanding around the world.” He added, “Through our participation in CES 2023, we will actively introduce SDT’s DX solutions that are already being successfully applied in Korea. “We will promote our competitiveness and achieve results for full-fledged overseas expansion,” he said.
SDT plans to set up an exhibition booth at the Korea Water Resources Corporation’s ‘K-water Pavilion’ in the Venetian Expo to welcome visitors during the event.
