CEO Hong Bok-yong said, “We used to enjoy riding with our family, but when my father became physically uncomfortable, it became difficult for him to ride a regular bicycle, so we came across a folding bicycle that can be put in the car and taken on the subway or bus. However, existing products were inconvenient in that they were heavy, difficult to fold, and took a lot of time,” he said. “In order to create a product that was convenient and not inconvenient for my father to ride, I thought of it as a product that my family would ride, and after five years of research and development, we developed Pop-cycle. was completed,” he explained the development background.
Pop-cycle is scheduled for mass production in March 2023, and will be available first through Kickstarter funding in January 3.
