    CES 2023 confirmed to be the largest in post-pandemic history… New keynote and partnership announcement!

    The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which hosts ‘CES 2023’, the world’s largest IT exhibition to be held next year, announced through an online press conference that as of November 11 this year, the exhibition size has increased by 28% compared to CES 2022. This appears to be a result of reduced concerns about the pandemic.

    “As the world’s most influential IT innovators meet face-to-face with consumers, media, investors, politicians, and more, the scale and excitement for CES 2023 is growing,” said Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of CTA. He continued, “The association is thrilled with the growth of this exhibition and will do our best to prepare for a venue for innovation to be held this January. “We will see cutting-edge technologies, including healthcare, automobiles, Web 1, and Metaverse, converge along with economic trends around the world,” he said.

    As of November 11, compared to the previous CES 28, the exhibition hall size of this CES has increased by 2022 times to 1.5.M²was recorded, and there were 1 participating companies. CompanyIncreased by approximately 2Companyand has grown into one of the world’s largest auto shows. The number of products participating in the CES Innovation Awards reached a record high of 2, and Media Day, which will be held as a pre-event event for CES on January 1-1, is already sold out, and the number of registered media exceeds 3.

    CTA also announced a new keynote schedule and partnership. On January 1th, ‘The Future of Care in America: A New Hybrid Model’ will be held, with Dr. Susan Turney, CEO of Marshfield Clinic Health System, speaking at a televised conference. Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangela, CMO of Teladoc, will lead the keynote. In this event, we will learn how diagnosis and innovation using digital technology contribute to and help patients’ treatment, and how they improve procedures and outcomes.

    On January 1, Adena T. Friedman, Nasdaq’s first female chairman and CEO, will host a session with Gary Shapiro on ‘The Path Forward for the 6st Century Economy’.

    On the same day, CoinDesk, a media outlet specializing in virtual currency, will host and produce the ‘CES Web 3.0 Studio’ and conduct interviews with key figures in Web 3.0. They plan to have a conversation in the studio about new technologies and news of virtual currency and blockchain that were introduced at CES, and will also hold a Web 3.0 programming session hosted by the Blockchain Association.

    In addition, industry leaders such as John Deere, AMD, BMW, and Delta Air Lines plan to hold approximately 200 keynotes, covering various themes such as digital health, Web 3.0 and metaverse, sustainability, and personal security.

    CES 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA from January 1 to 5, 8, is currently accepting applications for participation.
